NVA win Entertainment Lighting Award

NVA fought off stiff competition from Kylie Minogue’s & Fat Boy Slim’s latest tours to scoop the best Entertainment Lighting Award at the 2006 Lighting Design Awards UK for The Storr: Unfolding Landscape. ?The environmental light and sound installation, which was visited by up to 200 people per night over seven weeks, was described by the judges as an “an awesome undertaking”. They also praised the scheme for “its understatement, its respect for the majesty of its environment, and the overcoming of technical obstacles to create an unusual and enchanting experience with light.”

NVA are thrilled to have received the award and extend their thanks to all the artists, crew members and partner organisations who worked with them to achieve the event.
