New 2006 Light Festival in Newcastle Gateshead
May 15, 2006
NVA have just won a prestigious commission to create and produce a winter festival of light in Newcastle and Gateshead in December 2006. The festival will run over the first two weekends in December and culminate in a one-off event on New Years Eve.
It will feature a spectacular array of cross-artform lighting works and events which will raise the national profile of the area. NVA are currently in development stages of the project with a highly innovative programme been put in place over the summer.
