For six weeks, groups were guided through an inspiring illuminated landscape as poetry echoed down from the mountain. The new NVA book edited and complied by NVA’s Creative Director Angus Farquhar, captures one of the greatest site-specific environmental artworks ever staged in Britain.

The Storr: Unfolding Landscape provides a lasting record of NVA’s high-profile environmental artwork and features a stunning array of images, excerpts of poetry used in the installation soundscapes and quotes and interviews from those who experienced the event. It also aims to give new perspectives on Scotland’s land and culture with essays and contributions from, among others, Angus Farquhar, Robert MacFarlance, Alistair Gray and Neal Ascherson.
