NVA win a Scottish Thistle Award!

The Storr: Unfolding Landscape has become a Scottish Thistle Award winner in the Events and Festivals category. The judges thought our event was an innovative, interactive idea with an impressive list of partners, and included strong research and environmental assessment.

Events tourism is a growing market and projects were submitted across the spectrum of sport and culture. The Storr: Unfolding Landscape was a great success in attracting tourism to Skye during its duration and after. Its innovation and creativity, working in partnership with the local community and extending the international media interest in the area.

We are thrilled that our event won and hope that this helps boost the arts economic profile across Scotland.
