Take an exquisite, illuminated journey through the lush Glasshouses of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and be part of Scotland’s first ever Chinese Spring Lantern Festival.
Produced by RBGE in association with NVA, Spirit is a subtle and entrancing celebration of the magical form of lanterns and the beauty of Chinese plants.
How to Book
The Lantern Festival is open Thursday – Sunday. PLUS ADDITIONAL DAYS ON TUESDAY 4TH MARCH & WEDNESDAY 5TH MARCH Pre-booking advisable as tickets are selling fast.
£6 adults (16+), £4 children (3 – 15yrs) £16 family ticket (2 adults, 2 children)
Tickets are for timed slots, setting off every 10 minutes between 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
The walk-through averages 30 minutes.

Location
Entrance to the Lantern Festival is through the North Gate of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh on Inverleith Place, EH3 5LR.
Helpful Information
Suitable for all ages. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. This is a self-guided promenade event; you will be walking throughout. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for a partially outdoor event. The route will take you through Glasshouses of varying temperatures and humidity.
