Debating the Future of Scottish Arts

Feb 25, 2009

The new Minister for Culture, Michael Russell, met with representatives of Scotland’s artistic and creative communities at Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre on the 18th February.

The meeting was organised as an opportunity to give Scottish artists the chance to share their views on current issues, including tax breaks for artists, national companies and the controversial proposed arts agency, Creative Scotland.

NVA’s Creative Director Angus Farquhar attended the meeting and took part in the question and answer session.
