In May 2000, NVA presented the much acclaimed Millenium event, The Path, in Glen Lyon, Perthshire. The two hour night time walk took in key natural features, a range of light and sound installations and international performances and music. It explored connections between Scottish Highland culture and one of the worlds other great highland culture, the Himalayas.

Ani Choying Drolma: Buddhist Chants
Ani Choying Drolma is one of the finest singers of her generation living in the Himalayas. Her haunting Buddhist chants, which drifted over the midnight walkers, were captured through a live recording which is available on CD.

Tibetan Singing Bowl Orchestra
An air of mystery surrounds the chiming mantric sounds of the bowls, they are associated with healing and tantric ritual use. The orchestra were situated on the Eastern descent and their eternal sounds were also recorded during the event.
