Image Sequences
This page contains links to Internet artwork as broadcast on the evening of Saturday 22nd July.
The first three links below lead to static sequences of images;
the fourth link leads to animations of each of the three sets.
The first sequence was
broadcast during the departure movement of the performance.
This contains a changing collage of images of Glasgow. (72 images).
The second sequence was
displayed during the first half of the futurescape movement.
The images were announced by Tam Dean Burn. (54 images).
The third and final sequence
consisted of a number of rapidly changing images which
contributed
to the latter half of the futurescape movement (138 images).
Each of the above sequences was broadcast at the site
using the Server Push feature of Netscape.
This allows images to be changed or animated without the document being reloaded.
This method does, however, consume a large amount of bandwidth.
