stories from antigua and barbuda

inside - My wife and I are expecting our first baby in two weeks. The reality of being a dad is now getting a hold of me!
outside - I would have to say the passage of Hurricane Luis back in September 1995.
future - There will only be one company producing a product (cars for instance). Monopolies will control industry and commerce and we might very well have a one world government. (Not my first choice)

inside - Sometimes I feel there has to be more to life than this. I wish there was a way to just leave for a little while.
outside - I met the U.S. Secretary of State. Nice guy, but he looked like he needed a vacation. I guess puplic service is a drain on a man/woman.
future - Somehow kids seem to be born with more knowledge than ever. Hopefully they will use that knowledge to better this planet and do a better job of taking care of it than we have. I don't think they can do any worse.

inside - My ten (10) month old son just started walking today. I did'nt think he would do it this soon.
outside - I'm waiting to see if the AA strike will happen. If it does it may increase my work load 150%. I work for an air charter company.
future - I hope better than it is now, but if things keep going the way they are I see us all "going to hell in a handbasket."
