stories from jordan

inside - The unfaithfulness of some freinds when it comes to money matters...old freinds I have no problems with but many new freinds take do not share the honesty of old freinds...
outside - The uprising of the people in the south of Jordan when the price of bread was raised this summer. All market plunged down and I had to borrow money to keep my promisses to my creditors.
future - Ohhh....it is going to be hell...If now things are bad...how in it is going 100 years from now.. The officials know it is bad but no body is doing anything to correct the situation in the Country(Jordan).

inside - Nothing special has happened. Life is normal these days.
outside - In december 1996 world TVs focused on the Rowandan refugees and their plight. It has become completely normanl that we watch every night on TV children and old men and women dying of hunger and exhustion. These events have affected me most in recent days. I wonder if we realy thing that as humans we are equal. If yes what we do and can do to releave the mesery of the week and obresed, such as the Rowandan refugees.
future - If life contiues for another century many things could happen that will change our lives. Man will depend on machines for many things. Microprocessors (PC) may dominate our lives and become the means of comunication. Therefore, relations between people and families will probably be through vertual reality. Man will become more independant and family fabric may wear away. Let alone if genetic engineering gets envloved in determining the color of the eyes of would be born babies.
